Okay, maybe not the laziest ever, but pretty close I'm sure. I spend most of my time blogging on my other blog, and Tessia, well, she works harder than I ever dreamed anyone could and doesn't have lots of time to blog... but here is what is going down in Nashville for the interested parties.
1. Josh is busy working at Primal Gear and is recording when he can.
2. Tessia is now working nights, this makes Ace and Josh sad.
3. Ace is becoming calm... he sleeps a lot, and just lays around and looks cute, we are happy as this is what we had intended when getting a dog, it just took a few years to kick in.
4. Josh has been listening to Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power in the car a lot lately, Tessia is allowing it for now, Josh is basking in his metal victory.
5. Tessia wrapped all of our Christmas presents the other night and they are now sitting under our tree (which is the coolest tree ever).
6. We are excited to come home and see people, but probably not as excited as you are to see us! :)
That's all for now, I'd better get back to work...
And #6 is a joke, except for the part about everyone being more excited to see us.

It's been a while...
I'm sitting here at Primal Gear getting ready to go to lunch. I've finished adding some stuff to the website (consoles for sale) and thought I'd post quickly about what's been going on...
I've been steadily working in the tech shop here, doing web stuff and helping fix broken things and I also got a job at West Elm in the stock room, not exactly a "fun" job but everyone is cool and it's money. Tessia has just been doing her thing at the horse pistol... my parents are coming for Thanksgiving, so we'll be buying another chair for them (we only have 3) :).
Other than that, I've been hanging out at studios and trying to put some audio work together for myself and I keep thinking I may record that solo album I've been day-dreaming of... we'll see.

Scrabble..Music..White Russianish..ahh Friday Night
Josh finished his first week of work... he's in love! He works on lots of equipment with numbery titles in them and big long impressive sounding names...that's all i understand of it :) oh and he burns his fingers a lot (soldering), we use lots of band-aids now. i start monday. i'm trying to be excited but i am really enjoying all this time to be lazy and organize haha i know the two do not seem to go together. i got to fill out piles of pathetic paperwork tonight to prepare. although it was nice to be able to do it from my home and have it all ready to go the first day.
we have had lots of visitors in our first 2 weeks here. Jay and Kelsey and my parents helped us move and then hung out for a few days....we have pictures but we lost the cord to upload pictures from our camera and have not gotten it replaced yet. needless to say we had a lot of fun with all of them. we went to the country music hall of fame and toured RCA studio B. it was actually really really cool. Kelsey and I channeled Elvis's spirit when we were in studio B...she started singing "Blue Suede Shoes" in his voice exactly it was so freaky! j/k j/k it was really cool though totally recommend it to those who come to visit. after they all left our friend dustin and eventually the whole Me In Motion band crashed for a few days. it was a lot of fun....dustin was my company while josh started working and he was a trooper enduring lots of errands. always a good friend! then as of wednesday we have been all on our own.
we have explored as much as we have time for, and are really falling in love with the city and surrounding area. it really is beautiful. we do still miss home though :) tonight we took ace to the dog park for the first time. its an awesome place and REALLY BIG. he had fun running...finally without a leash!
love and miss you all!

We Have Internet!!!
Okay, so we made it to Nashville, and we are getting settled... this week has been super busy, getting life sorted out down here and what not. I start work on Monday and Tesh starts the next week... then we'll have paychecks again! Anywho, Jay and Kelsey/Larry and Rhonda came down with us to help us get all moved in, then Dustin Hurlock stopped by on Monday and he leaves tomorrow as he is between tours. We'll get some pictures up this weekend, but for now that's all...

music takes over all :)
well now that i see josh is claiming this blog for all things music along with his other blog, i thought i would make a post :) ...just kidding dear i love your posts!
not a lot exciting is going on right now its the calm before the storm. we finally have an official move date September 27 we will become southerners. thankfully there is not a lot of packing to be done as most of our stuff is in boxes in storage..which i will never complain about not having to pack. so right now we are both working as much as our jobs will let us...and as much as we can do and still keep our sanity. Also working on all the little things to prep for the big day. I think we are both excited I am a little more scared than josh but im hoping my excitement will keep overpowering the fear, its 50/50 some days. im just praying a lot!
in other news... we are selling my car a 94 mustang if anyone has an interest or knows anyone interested give one of us a call...we need it to be sold before we move. so call please :)
i think that is all for now.

Musical Item of the Day...
Okay, so I've decided, since it is the first of the month, I'm going to try and start posting at least one cool musical item of the day, whether it's a song you should listen to, or an album, or random information on a band/artist, or in this case... a really cool record cover. Enjoy!

Would You????
Would you buy a new car that needed to constantly be taken into the dealer to have "updates" done to it? What if I tell you that without these updates your car was unsafe and didn't meet certain standards within the industry? No? You wouldn't buy that car?? Then why do most of you (except of course my good friends) own the Windows Operating System? Seems kinda stupid to me.
By the way this post is directed at all the people whom tell me how great Windows is all the time and tell me how elitist I am and then when a new "update" comes out, any company that didn't comply perfectly had their software completely jacked. Namely, Zone Alarm, and it made my day yesterday at work a living hell... Windows sucks.
Not typed on a Mac... typed at work, where good computers don't exist.

I Hate Cars
I bought a beautiful new car (to me) a few months back, great car, great price... really happy! Lately though... really pissed...
The air compressor blew up, no AC, and the first quote I got to fix it was $2,200.00?!?!?! WTF?! That's over a third the price of the car?!
The front grill insert had come loose, and now, it's on a highway somewhere?!
The glove box latch is broken... useless glove box?!
And now, the cup holder won't click back into place?!?!?! WTF?!
This is post $1,000.00 of work that was done by the previous owner right before I bought it. What else can go wrong?! Did I mention it got some hale damage a few weeks ago?
So now, this car, which I want to sell, is worth about half of what I bought it for. I've made 3 payments on it. Sometimes I think God hates me and my punishment is my cars (if you know we, you know my history with them).
I hate cars.

Tech Support Help?
Here are a few tips for when you have to call technical support for any problem.
1. Remember your name and where you live, we are going to ask you, and it doesn't make you look too bright when you have to "think about" what your last name is.
2. Think before you speak. When you are asked to turn on your computer, don't ask me if I'm going to do that for you... I can't control your Dell over the phone, if I could, I would have caught it on fire by now.
3. When asked a Yes or No question... answer Yes or No, do not tell me yes, and then start to explain something that has absolutely no bearing on the current situation. The fact that you washed your car yesterday while your laptop was in your briefcase in the passenger seat is not the reason you are unable to get online, if you think it is, please disconnect your service and go with a different provider. Thank you.

Cox Communications | Wall of Shame
These are actual quotes from customers while on a call with Tech Support:
Josh
"Do you like Manwhiches? It's kind of like a Nu Way."You're welcome,
"What's wrong with my TV... it keeps flashing off and bleeding then coming on and bleeding."
"Your tech just came out and installed my phone, now my garbage disposal doesn't work."

Pauly Shore is a liar...
Jury duty is not fun... no food, no luxury hotels, no nothing. You sit. In a room. Waiting. Boring. Lame.

Nickleback > The Beatles?!
True story... I can't make this stuff up!
I am sitting at work when I overhear my boss say that he is going to Vegas in a few weeks. I stand up and let him know that if he isn't planning on going to Cirque du Soleil that he should. Tessia and I went to a show on our honeymoon and it was amazing!!! I then let him know that if anything, you get to hear The Beatles in surround sound, and that's just rad.
Then...
A co-worker that sits next to me laughs and tells me that the Beatles aren't any good anyway and that there is much better music than The Beatles out there. I took the bate...
Me: "What could possibly be that much better than The Beatles?"
Coworker: "Nickleback..."
Me: "..."
I didn't know what to say, I threw up inside and just froze, so then I said...
Me: "Oh yeah, Creed and Three Doors Down are pretty sweet too!!!" super sarcastic!
CW: "I love those bands, they are the best bands ever..."
I crap you not... like I said, I can't make this stuff up.
Then, I laughed, rudely... and just said that Nickleback was aweful and that we obviously were on different pages when it came to talentless 2 chord jock rock bands...
It gets better...
CW: "I like jazz too..."
Me: "Like who..."
CW: "Kenny G."
Me: "That's not even jazz... it's elevator music."
CW: "You obviously have no taste..."
Me: "I'll take my Grant Green, Nels Cline and Sam Rivers records over that junk any day."
CW: "Whoever that is."
I don't even know what to say. It's sad what people listen to... I don't care if "they enjoy it"... maybe I am an elitist, but the music business is falling apart and I now believe that most consumers are to blame. Quit buying crappy music, it isn't fair to the people that actually enjoy art to have to deal with the crap on the radio... because it's not my fault that it's there. It's yours.

Packing...
Packing is not the most glamorous part of moving... in fact, it's the worst. Boxes, boxes and more boxes, everywhere you try and walk! And it also seems that nothing is getting done, it just looks like you have added a lot of boxes to the house, but everything else is just hanging out, no furniture has been moved, no shelving taken down... no electronics unhooked (you can't pack without music!)... so everything just looks the same... with boxes.

Moving!
We are one week away from our moving day... so if anyone wants to come and help us :) feel free to call, email, comment, stop by or just show up. If you can't do any of those, just pray that we have good weather for the move and that everything goes smoothly (because we all know that nothing bad ever happens while moving!).
If you would like, you can also pray for our house hunt... our goal is this:
3 Bedrooms
2 Bathrooms
2 Car Garage
Full Basement (for the studio)
Fenced Yard for Ace!
That's that... pray that we find a home in a timely manor, not that we don't love Larry and Rhonda, we just enjoy living on our own, and they already have 3 dogs! That's all for now...

I Have Caved!!
It's official I have become so desperate to do anything but pack up my house to move that i have started a blog. We will see how this goes. I usually turn away from this type of thing seeing how i start to type and every english teachers face i had flashes before my eyes yelling corrections in my grammar and word choice but i will push on anyway. I should make a note i am a lazy writer.....as you can see some "I's" capitalized some not, rarely will punctuation happen as it should but hopefully i will get my point across whatever that may be for the day :)
so here is the WARNING: if you are a grammar freak stop reading now for risk of a brain aneurysm secondary to frustration by my writing. anyway moving on.........
As i was saying i am currently sitting on the couch staring at all of our belonging that need to move into boxes. i wont lie i am secretly hoping that for a small moment magic could exist and they would all place themselves in the boxes nice and neat ( i would even be ok if they broke into a nice song and dance number while they did it, i could go for a good sing along right now)...oh look how Disney has brain washed me :) so yes as i was saying the cary's are moving yet again, this time in with my parents so we can then buy a house and josh's grandpa can sell the house we are currently living in. so things are a changing again.
ok i think that is enough for a first post dont want to give to much up to early :) hope everyone has a great day!
