We NEVER Update This Thing!

Not sure why, maybe it's because Tesh works nights and Josh works all day (and night) and whenever we have time off we'd rather hang with friends and family, or just each other. Update on what's been up...

Josh is finishing his first semester back at school (WSU), and has been recording a ton for all sorts of people (if you're interested in any of that check out his blog), we had a good Thanksgiving in town and we'll be spending the Holidays here as well now that all but a very small portion of our family lives outside of Wichita.

Josh will (hopefully) be traveling to Nashville at the beginning of next year with some artists to maybe play some shows and help them meet some contacts.

That's about all for now, just continue to pray that Josh keeps getting work and that he can keep working it out with his school schedule and that Tesh can move to days as soon as possible...

Update!

Well, Tessia has been ill, I've been working my new job and we've just been hanging out in Nashville. Other than that, things are going along fine... I'm sure I'll have something more exciting in the future. :)

Happy 83rd Birthday Grandpa!

For those who don't know, I was named after my grandpa Doug (my middle name is Douglas) so I just wanted to put up a quick birthday shout out to my grandpa!

This man is my spiritual role-model, and I know that if I can be half the man he is, I'll be 10 times the man that most are!

So, happy 83rd birthday grandpa. I love you.

Sorry it's been so long...

Okay, I haven't posted in a long time. We've been quite busy the past few months but now I don't really have an excuse since I stopped working at Primal Gear this week. A lot of things have changed for us, none of which I'll be posting here since we want to tell all of our friends and family first (no Tessia isn't pregnant no matter how much you all may want that to be true!).

Tessia is still working at the horse-pistol and I'm still making contacts will local artists and engineers, hoping to work on a few more projects in the coming months.

As far as new work, while we were back in town in March myself, my brother Justin, bro-in-law Andy and favorite songwriter Wesley all got together at the Brickhouse Recording Studio in Wichita, KS. We wrote and recorded 3 songs, all of which will be finished sometime this summer and released (probably for free) online. So yes, that is what is going on...

It's been over a month...

We truly suck at this. We don't blog nearly enough... so yes, Christmas and New Year's came and went, Tessia was sick on New Year's so it was kind of a downer. Josh is still kicking it a Primal Gear and Tesh is still working at the hospital.

Other than that, we're getting a lot of visitors the weekend of February 7th. Dustin is coming to town to work at rock show at Exit/In and Neil and Kim are coming to town for a worship conference, both have decided to take some time to see us, we think this is a wise decision!

Josh is starting work on a new record tomorrow with a local engineer, he is stoked and ready to help make lovely musics with people who are passionate about it! Other than that, not much has changed, we're still breathing and we still miss everyone!
